[CONCERT REVIEW] - MARIO @ The IndigO2

What an evening. Held at the IndigO2 Greenwhich, the show started around 7pm.  We didn't arrive til after 8pm unaware that I was even going to the Mario concert. (We were actually just told to check out a UK RnB act by the name of Raheem Bakare, who happened to be an opening act. Which we didn't even see due to our late arrival.)

[ALBUM REVIEW] M.I.A - /\/\ /\ Y /\ [XL Records]

Maya Arulpragasam, other wise known as British-Sri Lankan artist M.I.A, released a self-entitled third album earlier this month adding to her musically innovative catalogue. The album follows the success of tracks such as "O… Saya", featured in the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, and massive hit "Paper Planes" released three years prior to this much anticipated album.

If you didn't catch this yesterday check out the teaser for Chris Browns upcoming short film 12 Strands.  According to sources the track didn't make his Grafitti Album released late last year but he decided to release it as a short film for his fans.  The short film also leads up to his role on the big screen in Takers, opening August 27.

So past week or so been a lil busy getting my shit together (life post-uni needs to be on top for me), working on a project or two and getting ready to line some serious work up so I got my head down for the moment. Last week I did however come across the UK's first BestBuy store which opened May this year in Lakeside and passed by just to see what it's all about.
